I began developing my strategic approach at McCann Worldgroup under the direction of Maryam Zafar, where I learned to translate ideas into visual systems within a fast-paced creative environment. I carried that thinking into Sole Classics in Columbus, where I created community-centered experiences around streetwear and sneaker culture, including the shop’s first all-women Nike “Force Is Female” photoshoot and helping bring Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. pop-up experience to Columbus.
My work then expanded into music with Eardrummers Records, where I developed merchandise, event graphics, and the label’s first e-commerce site, and into professional sports with the WNBA’s New York Liberty as a Digital Content Producer. There, I created arena graphics and social content, documented players, and built relationships that eventually led to an adidas campaign shoot with Jacki Gemelos. I continued developing creative strategy across sports, fashion, entertainment, and music through projects including The Future of Jersey with entertainment lawyer Karl Fowlkes and digital work for Los Angeles music artist Blxst and his label, EVGLE Records.
I’m applying what I’ve learned about branding, storytelling, sports, music, community, and creative experiences to help recognize Columbus’ roller skating style as more than recreation. Columbus Stride is a cultural identity.
My work now focuses on preserving, documenting, and amplifying that identity through cultural programming, visual storytelling, community engagement, and creative strategy.
If you’re interested in partnering, collaborating, documenting, or creating experiences that highlight Columbus’ roller skating style as part of our cultural identity, I’d love to connect and make Strides with you.
